ASSISTANCE – We work with local and national hip-hop musicians to raise funds to help assist regular hard working people that are challenged with everyday expenses of providing food for their families, keeping utilities on and a roof over their head. We will help anyone in need but our primary focus is on helping individuals who are trying to help themselves. Anyone who believes in our mission can donate.

A family member of the guardian of 6 kids, whos father has been charged with shooting the mother (who later died) reached out to us for some assistance via our web application
“On January 5, 2017 in the city of Oxnard, the Ortiz children lost their mother to domestic violence. There are six children ages 2, 3, 6, 10, 14 and 16 years. The children are now in the care of their guardian. Their guardian is their cousin. She is a young mother herself with two children ages 3 and 7. The guardian had to quit her job in order to care for the younger children. She is also enduring a health issue that requires surgery which she had to put off due to not having health insurance. In the meantime, this family of four has grown to a family of ten, and they are living on the husband’s income which has made it financially hard on the family. My hope is to help get this family as much assistance as possible. If you can, please assist to these children whose world was changed forever. Thank you for your time. Much appreciated.”

Red Brick Pizza Fundraiser Donation to Jennifer Mejia on 6/18/15
Hip-Hop Help met up with the recipient of our Red Brick Pizza Fundraiser Donation at her work in the Camarillo Outlet Mall. Local Hip-Hop Artists Riley Real and CRAW of The Character Assasins were present to help award the donation. We were extra happy to have support from our local Television Station KADY Channel 7.
Jennifer reached out to us for a little assistance via our web application. Upon reviewing her application we decided she was a great hard working candidate to help out.
Jennifer wrote: “I am reaching out to hip hop help to see if I can get some help with groceries. I have 2 girls ages 6 and 3 and am due to have another girl on July 1st.
I have been put on limited hours at work and will begin maternity leave next week. My husband works part-time so my hours being cut has created a financial
strain. If hip hop help would help us with getting groceries it would be a huge blessing and would take some of the stress of reduced pay off our shoulders.”
